A Momi-rable weekend!

It feels great to be out and about taking advantage of the Love our Local deals (aka LOL) all while we can and while it lasts! LOL

Momi has become a favourite location of mine given that Fiji Marriot Resort is nestled here. The easing of COVID-19 restrictions now means having access to a few more activities and services.

I checked into the over the water bure and was ready to have a relaxing time. The stay included buffet breakfast and a dinner.

While water sports and related activities are not fully functional at most resorts around Fiji, my investment in an inflatable stand up paddle board makes me happy! I get to lug this around with me and go SUP when I want to, and I enjoy paddling around Marriot.

The food at Marriot resort can be a hit and miss, however they do listen to you when you give them feedback. I love their burgers and this time tried the kebab wrap which was supposed to be an entrée but ended up being so filling and it was so good. The fish bar and grill located near the infinity pool has reopened and it was bustling on Saturday night. Again, a really good decision to book in advance to get the best seats! Food and dessert served at the Fish bar and grill was really nice.

If you are looking for something to do outside of the resort that does not require a long drive away, then Zip line Fiji is right around the corner for you. If you love adrenaline or just want to experience the rush, then zip lining is something you must try out for sure!

A total of 16 lines plus a cave tour and all while enjoying the scenic view of Momi from the top.

After zip line, a massage is needed! It was great to hear that the Quan Spa reopened, and I made sure to book in a full body massage and walked out feeling great and smelling divine!

I got back to Suva feeling relaxed and of course wishing this Momi-rable weekend did not have to end so soon!
