6 months later….

The first half of the year flew by, and I have enjoyed every bit of it and still wonder how in the world have I ended up here, today, now.

Work has kept me really busy and despite the no travel and mostly virtual work life it has been hectic. In case you are still wondering what I do for a living other than my best, I work for a regional organization, and I look after communications and media for public health. I absolutely love working from home and am abit sad that we go back to the office in July.

Apart from work I was keeping madly busy with other interests of mine. I joined the Fiji Fashion Week team as their brand ambassador and what an experience that has been. Being able to understand how these things operate and work was eye opening for me. The team works like magic to bring together such a big fashion show and I learned so much from everyone. Of course, fashion has no end and there is world of endless possibilities that it offers.

It was pretty cool to also meet some of you in person and thank you for your kind words and I am truly humbled to know just how much my work inspires or motivate you, and hey even if it makes you laugh then well great 😊

On the personal front, I tried to put myself out there to go on a date (failing terribly I must say). I did go on a dinner date a couple of months back. But how can a person develop feelings for a person in just one meeting right? It still shocks me whenever I think about it, but I shall save this story for another day. Anyway, other than that, I think I have met someone but well let’s see how that goes. Yeah, dating at my age is such hard work it can get exhausting which is why many of us still choose to be single. LOL

Of course, the usual continues in the background with my family and friends. I try to keep up with running, an attempt to stay fit, eat well and have fun. Everything in moderation.

Some of you ask me how I do what I do. Honestly, I do not really know, but I do tell myself to breath, take a moment and then just keep going. I don’t have anyone looking after me but me so I guess that just keeps me going. Sky is never the limit remember!

I am excited for the second half of the year because I have some really exciting projects lined up and I can’t wait to share this with you all.

Today I decided that I am going to catch feelings and flights coz why not? Till my next post....
