The word on Weta

And this is exactly how Weta went Weta Viral! No seriously, word of mouth in Fiji is perhaps the strongest network ever (and no offense to any of our network providers LOL).

Once a person knew the exact location of Weta- everyone knew! Once a handful of people agreed that coffee and waffles were to die for- everyone knew and agreed! Actually, it was that plus the obvious fact that the coffee and waffles hit the right spot.

I am a Weta fan and I would conveniently stop by them after Kamal would get off for work. This meant that I would take over the wheel (bad idea because when I take the wheel it means I drive to food!) So yes, despite working in an office out in Nabua, this quick stop was great for me. Which reminds me, a friend was saying how her brother who works out in Kalabo makes an extra effort to go out of his way for Weta!

Weta coffee and their other beverages are great as well. Try their ugly green juice when you get a chance. When it comes to the waffles, I will admit that there are days where it comes out hard and crunchy and I prefer the fluffy soft warm waffles. But hey, the price is good and that serve of waffles can easily fit two if you are keen to share! (I recommend not sharing though HA!)

The decadent chocolate pie is another FAV FAV FAV of mine and if you time your entry into Weta right, you will be able to grab yummy muffins, roti and other goodies before it all runs out.

So dear people that work on Victoria Parade and around that area, just know how fortunate and weta-tastic it is for you to have the quickest access to Weta. Think about us gang working out of Suva City and maybe next spare us a waffle, muffin or two! Wink Wink!

Weta Fiji is located on Victoria Parade inside of the mobile service station. They have a seating area inside and a small seating area outside.
