When Lodo says "Love it"!

It has been wedding season to attend to and I am not complaining. I love all the drama of finding the right outfit, matching jewelry, shoes and bags. Does it stop there? Nope. Because I then worry about hair and makeup. I only do this when I have a few extra bucks to spare.

Recently I needed to get hair and makeup done for a wedding I was attending in Nadi. The lovely Hosanna recommended Lodo who has recently started freelancing as a hair and makeup artist. I followed Lodo on Instagram and was familiar with his work. Lodo is also the hair and makeup artist for Love Island that is being shot here in Fiji.

Lodo rocked up to the hotel ready to work his magic. The first thing I told him was, “please don’t make me look white and caked” and he looked at me and said “OMG Love it”. I am usually clueless with what look I want and lean on the person to decide for me. This fact also applies to me when it comes to deciding what to eat, drink, breathe etc. LOL.

Anyway, Lodo suggested that I go for an extra look, which included blue eyelids to match my outfit. I thought I should give that I try as I feel my Indian outfits are generally too simple and I accessorize too simply.

For my hair, he suggested that I go for curly waves pinned up and that was it. An hour later and I was ready. I was extremely happy with the outcome and was feeling like mermaid with all the blue and aqua that was going on.
