When Family is Business

In all aspects. When a family member ventures into business it is a big deal and requires immediate support. So yes, by now you would have guessed that this is about family businesses and in particular about my baby brother Michael Jnr aka MJ's photography stint. (also not a baby anymore).

Yes, you will say everyone that has a DSLR camera considers themselves a photog and we already have so many in Fiji blah blah blah... but so what? I firmly believe that if you are passionate about what you do and if it makes you happy just go for it. In fact, kudos to all local photographers in Fiji that offer unique skill sets and photography that caters for differing demands.

MJ growing up had a keen interest in gadgets and cars. Photography is something that he stumbled across and found a foot in this shuttering flashing profession. Not everyone can afford expensive photography and what MJ offers is affordable yet efficient services. He is a soft heart really and works around what you require, even budget wise.

My parents supported this idea and have always had his back with this passion of his and from there it was all about learning and growing. MJ’s wife Doris is as supportive of this venture and assist him with the work he does.

MJ has been one of the photographers at the Mana Whey Coral Coast Sevens Tournament, TEDxSuva 2017, Coral Coast Carnival and other major sporting events and others held in Sigatoka.
