Hurray for Gazebo Cafe!

Ever driven along Queens Road and realize that your hungry and know the only chances of getting food maybe at the next town? Well Same. But the Good news is, Maui Bay can be a pit stop for food at the new Moksha Spa and Gazebo Cafe.

We left Suva this morning for Sigatoka. I remembered about this new place that had opened. BINGO!

It is designed as a Gazebo- hence the name and I loved the wooden building. If you are driving to Nadi from Suva, it is on the right hand side and there is a sign board on the main highway, so you can't miss it. When you enter the driveway, you will first see the Spa and then the cafe next to it.

Customer service was on point- very attentive, warming and welcoming. The menu featured burgers, wraps to rice and meat dishes, dessert and drinks.

We got a mint juice and a citrus juice which was delicious. As if they knew how much I loved garlic bread as it magically appeared as an appetizer while we waited for our meals. (cue me overly impressed). Kamal ordered chicken stir fry and felt that it was ok-ish and could have been better. I felt like a grilled sandwich and just for decoration purposes (and I have big eyes*) ordered a side of fries which I never finished btw.

Generally, it has a nice relaxing ambiance given that it also features a spa. Kamal and I were also discussing how this place will offer food options for those that stay in hotels/villas around this area.

Well, If you do get a chance, check it out and I would love to know what you think of it!

*My reference to "big eyes" meaning- I usually end up ordering more food than i can usually eat because it just appeals to the eyes-LOL!
