Hands up for Peri Peri Chicken & Fries!
It had been ages since i ate at Nando's, so i literally brainwashed my husband Kamal and our friend Shaneel to skip box fit and head here to eat instead! Obviously, it was food that won after a good intense 10 minute discussion and we ended up at the Laucala Bay Nandos.
What really struck us was how run down and old Nandos was looking. It was dimly lit and definitely not in the best condition. Currently in Fiji, we are witnessing a boom in hip and happening food joints. For instance, the Grace Road Food Joints, they are in everyone's faces and offer neat and chic interiors with cleanliness always on point.
For a restaurant that has been established in Fiji for years now, surely one can expect upgraded and up to standard interiors, especially from a food chain popular world wide.
We let our cravings for Per Peri lead us and placed our usual order for Family Fiesta!
We did hear from other friends how sauces were not being provided to customers and that it was being replaced with tomato sauce instead. But, it was pleasing to receive the famous sauces (or whatever you call it)!.
Visiting this place after ages, we were happy that the food did not disappoint and Nandos did not dare compromise with its Peri Peri chicken and fries!
