Patisserie Pacifica
Welcome! Hello! Bula! Is what you hear as soon as you step inside this cafe (or any Grace Road food joints). Beaming smiles top off this cheerful greeting. The interiors of Patisserie Pacifica is minimal with a dash of pastel colors.
I was so excited that this had opened up at the new small complex across from Kundan Singh in Tamavua. In fact, it was just a drive away from our office, so naturally it become a hang out spot for us.
Now another popular discussion topic for many, is the doctrine and beliefs that Grace Road promote. Indeed questionable, and i shall leave it at that for now!
You can however agree, that the food and drinks coming out of their kitchen is delicious! I personally feel that they are a bit pricey, but hey, if i am getting delicious, fresh food, clean & hygienic kitchen, and presentable (instagrammable) food- there goes my money.
Today, my friend Raeed Ali and I decided to catch up over lunch. I decided to try the croissant sandwich with a fresh juice, while Raeed settled for a chicken salad and iced coffee. Service was definitely on point and we were ready to dig in! We both enjoyed today's meal and drinks.
While they strive to serve great food, i must admit there has been times where i was disappointed. I tend to not like their hot mocha as it tastes watered down. The coffee is great and so are the other fresh juices and smoothies. But still think that other places serve great smoothies for a lesser price.
Anyway, i always order this yummy dessert- choco pie! It melts in your mouth and the chocolate and whipped cream is the best. It is hard to not order dessert when walking into here! Except i skipped ordering one today, because of the croissant. I do highly recommend trying this out for sure!
If you spot me stuffing choco pie in my mouth, please excuse me!
