Na Koro Market

I LOVE markets! I always love wandering around stall to stall checking out the many bits and pieces that is on offer.

The concept of Na Koro Market was put together by Peter Sipeli along with the Fiji Museum. Thurston Gardens hosts this market and i think its an excellent venue for such events given the space. This event is held once a month.

Peter had also asked me to help out with Photography alongside another Friend Joseph Hing. I love taking pictures and of course being in pictures LOL, so i went along.

The weather was not on our side and the rain left a muddy mess for us to wander through. Despite this, the turnout was great. Na Koro Market also offered kids activities leaving parents free to wander around the market. Yoga sessions were also available and other arts and crafts activities.

I had fun of course, because i always find myself meeting and catching up with people and friends that i have not seen in ages. So you see, markets offer so much more!

The talented band Four Quarters were belting out amazing music for most part of the day and the atmosphere was super chill.

One major highlight of any market really is the food! It is the center of attention and always in demand. There was a good mix of food and snacks. Check out some pictures below and i hope you get to go to one soon!
