Miss World Fiji 2016

Attending Miss World Fiji 2016 was a big deal for me. Why? Well, because it meant having to dress up and check out fashion and who was wearing what!

I love fashion. I don't know if my fashion sense is always on point, or on trend, but i have always dressed to my mood and what i feel confident in. Of course everyone's style and taste for fashion is different.

Anyway, i was also super excited because the fabulous Nick Neilson renowned and well known makeup and hair artist had agreed to do my hair and makeup! He was also HMUA for Miss World Fiji 2016 Winner Pooja Priyanka!

Nick is amazing and i love the way he keeps it real yet stunning! Here i am, rocking MAC products and that lipstick color is from the Ariana Grande MAC Viva La Glam collection.

Well, now that makeup and hair was sorted, time to doll up! Again i was super excited because i had just bought a dress from Treehouse Boutique and was looking for the right occasion to wear it to!

I usually shop at Treehouse Boutique because the styles and range of clothing they have is basically my taste. In fact, half my wardrobe is from Treehouse Boutique!

It was a fun evening because my two dear friends Nina and Jacobi were attending this event with me. They were as excited as me to dress up and witness this event.

The show was well organised and all the girls vying for the Miss World Fiji Crown did amazing. It does take a lot of courage to stand up and represent your country. There is always so much pressure!

It was a fun evening and also a great time to see what everyone else was wearing. There were many outfits and gowns that just wowed me and unfortunately i could not take too many pics while inside, as i was busy just taking it all in.

Well, here is hoping i get to go and attend more fun events like these in the future! What kind of events do you like attending?
